For Steve, bartending has never really been just about making drinks. It’s about the people sitting on the other side of the bar.

He started bartending very young and quickly discovered that what he loved most—besides a great cocktail—was meeting people. Hearing their stories, making them laugh, and creating the kind of place where strangers can walk in, settle into a chair, and feel comfortable staying awhile.

Over the years, that love of people grew alongside a serious passion for spirits. Steve is always looking for something a little different: an unusual bottle, a spirit you don’t see every day, or an ingredient that can turn a familiar cocktail into something completely unexpected. He loves experimenting, creating new drinks, and introducing people to things they might never have thought to try.

That spirit of discovery is a big part of what inspired our bottle shop and cocktail lounge.

We wanted to create something that felt less like a traditional bar and more like a really great living room—just one with a much better liquor cabinet. Comfortable armchairs, coffee tables, good conversation, interesting bottles, and thoughtfully made drinks. A place where you can relax, discover something new, and never feel rushed.

We also believe a great drink doesn’t have to contain alcohol. Our menu will include plenty of thoughtfully crafted mocktails alongside our cocktails, with fresh herbs and other ingredients playing a big role in both.

Travel is another huge inspiration for us. Steve and I—Jaime, his wife and the more behind-the-scenes half of this adventure—love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and discovering what people around the world eat and drink. We plan to bring pieces of those experiences home with us, whether that means an interesting spirit we discover, an unexpected flavor combination, or inspiration for a new cocktail.

At the end of the day, we want this to be a place built around curiosity, hospitality, and connection.
